Montana Mountain Smoke, Inc. is a family owned company nestled in the clean, fresh, wide open spaces of the Rocky Mountains in Montana. Kim Waltee has turned her hobby into a thriving business in just 12 years, earning herself a reputation as the "Smoked Fish Queen." Her business, known as ‘Montana Mountain Smoked’, first opened its doors in 1993. Going through two expansions, the business now operates out of a 1500 square foot building in Montana City, Montana.
Kim's interest in smoking fish for her family and friends evolved into a full scale operation (no pun intended). Today her smoked wild sockeye salmon, smoked wild keta salmon and rainbow trout can be found in retail and specialty stores in five western states
After business was up and running, Kim decided to try out a new product, a sockeye salmon cream cheese spread. The spread has proven so popular it's turned out to be one of her best sellers.
Montana Mountain Smoked takes great pride in producing premium quality, hickory smoked wild sockeye salmon, rainbow trout, wild keta salmon and wild sockeye salmon spread.
